ATA TrapATA Trap is a clay target sport where the clay target is presented from a single trap located in a trap house. The target will be thrown in a random direction (left to right) upon the command from the shooter to "pull". Shooters shoot from 1 of 5 positions and rotate position after 5 shots from each position. A round of trap is 25 targets, 5 shots from 5 positions. Variations include doubles trap, where two birds are thrown at the same time from the same fixed trap (direction is not random), and handicap Trap where shooting positions are set farther from the trap house depending on shooter's skill. | Open Trap PracticeTrap is open to all shooters both members and non-members.
