Hunting is allowed on club property for club members, but is restricted and governed by Palmyra Sportsmen's Association. Members intending to hunt on club property must attend a PSA Hunter Safety meeting every year you intend to hunt on club property. Guests are not allowed to hunt on PSA property.

All hunting on PSA property is at your own risk.
Any person wishing to hunt on PSA property must attend the current year, annual PSA Hunter Safety meeting.
You must carry your PSA badge with the hunting sticker attached with you while hunting on club property. If you get a replacement badge you must save and transfer your number.
Hunting rules are subject to change at any time. Changes will be posted. Hunters are responsible to know the rules as they are and as they may change.
Rifles are not permitted for hunting of any game at any time on PSA property. This includes 22 caliber
NO guests are permitted to hunt on club property.
Youth hunting (16 years old and under) is permitted. The youth hunter must be accompanied by an adult member. The youth hunter also must attend the current year, annual safety meeting.
Property east of the sporting clay fields will be open to hunting with archery, shotguns, in lines, and muzzleloaders.
Property from sporting clays to the west will be open to hunting with archery and shotguns with shot shells only. No shot larger than #4.
There are 4 zones labeled on the map for logging areas. We will post what zone the logger is working in, on the website, please make sure to check often.
Pistols of any kind may not be used for hunting on PSA property at any time.
A safety harness must always be worn while hunter is in a tree stand.
All tree stands must be registered with the hunting committee. All tree stands must be tagged with the medallion provided by the hunting committee.
Ground blinds left on PSA property must be tagged with the current year medallion provided by the hunting committee.
You must attend the current year, annual safety meeting prior to hanging your stand.
Placing tree stands on club property during logging operations will be at your own risk. There will be no removal of tree stands by the logger when working in that area. Club/Logger are not responsible for any damage to tree stands. Again, place/hang at your own risk.
Tree stands may be hung on or after August 13, 2021 – but not before the hunter has attended the 2021 PSA hunter safety meeting.
Tree stands must be removed before Sunday February 6, 2022
Tree stands not removed by the deadline will be removed by the hunting committee. Hunter will be assessed $50 to recover the tree stand and tag. Unclaimed tree stands will be sold at auction with PSA retaining the funds.
2022 MEETINGS are Saturday July 9th at 10am, Sunday July 17 at 2pm, and Tuesday August 2 at 7pm.
In 2021 the earliest date to hang a stand is August 13th
If you don’t attend the current year hunting safety meeting your tree stand tag number becomes invalid. If this tag is found the hunting committee can remove the stand. Tree stand will be sold at auction.
PSA is not responsible for tree stands or other hunter equipment left on PSA property.
Please be aware of your surroundings/club ranges. Don’t walk out on ranges while they are in use.
There were several complaints about horseback riding last year. They are able to ride on Sundays only( with the exception of the 3 Sunday hunting dates Nov 14, 21, 28)
All hunters are responsible to be properly licensed in accordance with PA Game Commission Regulations. All hunting is governed by PA Game Commission Regulations.
We take the rules very seriously, if you chose to break the rules, you will be suspended from hunting and/or lose privileges forever.
Last year we started a deer recovery list, if interested please sign up on the provided paper.
ATV’s are permitted to recover deer, or take tree stands in and out,only. You must stay out of the fields and only drive on designated farm lanes or paths in the woods.
It is possible that the club will start construction of a road that connects the club to the new property this year.
