The 2025 PSA Winter Archery Program is conducted by a team of certified archery instructors from Palmyra Sportsmen's Association. The classes will begin with very basic instruction and progress with each archer at their own skill and interest level. Archers will learn archery safety, archery terminology, tournament procedures, basic form & technique, and advanced skills as time allows.
The PSA Winter Archery Program is designed to develop skilled archers that may go on to compete in local, state and national competitions. The program is also for those who wish to develop skills for archery hunting or just enjoy the sport recreationally.
The program is open to all youth ages 6-17.
The program consists of 4 weeks of archery instruction. Each class time (line time) is limited to 10 participants. Multiple class times (line times) are available.
All students will begin shooting from the 10 yard line. Palmyra Sportsmen's Association will provide all the necessary archery equipment for those who do not posses their own. Archers are encouraged to bring their own equipment to use during the program. Equipment will be subject to a safety inspection prior to use.
Registration for the PSA Youth Winter Archery Program starts at the PSA Family Fun Field Day in October.
